How Prominate contributes to Sandvik sustainability shift

Prominate actively strives to reduce the use of finite resources in production. Where we can, we choose renewable raw material and recycled materials. Through design and product development our aim is to enable separation of materials when recycling and thus give the products new life.

We work to reduce environmental impact through product development, smart design, material selection, production processes and sustainable packaging solutions. When choosing transport, we prioritize boat and train freight instead of air transport.

The Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact is the foundation of Prominate’s sustainability work and our approach to business. This means operating in ways that meet fundamental responsibilities in the areas of human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption.

Prominate is a member of Amfori BSCI, the leading business association of global commerce that enables member companies to enhance human rights, use natural resources responsibly, and drive open trade globally. Through Amfori BSCI Code of Conduct we address and improve social compliance in our supply chain.
